Complex Electrical Harness Assemblies

Universal Engineering has just completed a move to a dedicated 10,000 sq ft unit as part of the expansion of its Electrical Harness Assembly Business. Employing around 100 staff, this new expansion provides our customers with a modern facility fitted from the outset to provide a production base that best uses LEAN and cellular manufacturing techniques to comply with AS9100.

Staff are trained and certified to IPC620 Quality and Acceptance standards ensuring our customers receive nothing but high quality finished goods. As an endorsement of this, harnesses for our main aerospace customer are 'Shipped to Line' as they have done for many years.

Universal Engineering have many years experience of providing projects with their own dedicated facilities and have access to almost unlimited capacity as-and-when our customers demand it. This flexibility is extended to our workforce where we operate a shift system around the clock 7 days a week allowing our staff to sustain a healthy work life balance while ensuring our customers work is completed on time.

The facility has full access control as well as secure stores for the safety and security of our staff, customers and goods.
