Universal Advanced Systems, part of the Universal Engineering Group displayed the Ranger 8x8 Armoured Vehicle to an international audience for the first time at DSEi 2011.



The vehicle gained much interest from visitors and exhibitors alike and stood alongside the Griffon 380TD Hovercraft from sister company Griffon Hoverwork.
The organisors, Clarion Events, reported increased visitor numbers for this event and this certainly seemed to be reflected if the footfall on the stand was anything to go by. The team were busy throughout the show manning two stands inside the north hall as well as the waterborne display out on Royal Victoria Dock where the Royal Marines 2400TD hovercraft was on display.
