Repairs and Overhaul of existing products is undertaken with testing, survey reporting, repairing and new support documentation.

These projects can include items of any size and weight including electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, mechanical and structural elements.

At Universal Engineering, the complete product life cycle is supported from initial design and prototyping, through testing and evaluation, manufacturing and type certification, to repair, refurbishment and de-commissioning.

Such programmes are run, for example, for the UK MoD with manufacturing and then global testing in support of specialist military trailers and equipment.

As an example, we have both manufactured and refurbished Seawolf missile launch canisters for MBDA.

The refurbishment of these launch tubes is part of an on-going contract.
